A Diota is a symbol of the union of intellect and fun. It is a two-handed drinking vessel, as you of course know. It’s a serious quaffing-enabler, the kind used at symposia by convivial philosophers in Ancient Greece to get outside fine wines while getting inside the meaning of life. Symposium is ancient Greek for a drinks party.
That’s why we chose it to be the logo (again with the Ancient Greeks) for a publishing venture in which we aim to combine fun and intellect in equal measure, and maybe some fine wine…
